About Author

Historian Kate Brittlebank is a leading authority on Tipu Sultan. She is the author of Tipu Sultan’s Search for Legitimacy: Islam and Kingship in a Hindu Domain and several scholarly articles on the Mysore ruler. She has held teaching and research positions in Australian universities, including the University of New South Wales, Sydney and Monash University in Melbourne.
