About Author
Imayam
is the pen name of V. Annamalai, a schoolteacher and writer.
He has published seven novels and six short story collections. He has
been honoured with several awards, including the Tamil Nadu State
Award (21), the Iyal Lifetime Achievement Award (218), the Sahitya
Akademi award (22) and the Kuvempu Rashtriya Puruskar (222).
