The translations of His Holiness’ discourses in 1932 speak of Skandasasti, and other related topics. The birth of Sri Sankaracharya took place on the fifth day in the bright fortnight in Vaisakha at Kaladi in the house of Sivaguru and Aryamba. Sri Sankaracarya took birth in Kerala because many Keralites had forgotten to study Vedas.

About Author
His Holiness Jagadguru Sri Chandrasekharendra Sarasvati, Sankaracharya of Kanchi Kamakoti Pitham is the 68th in the line of succession from Adi Sankara. He became the head of the matha when he was just 13 years old and started giving pravachans and discourses which came straight from the heart.
