About Author

Robin Banerjee is the chairman of Nucleon Research Pvt Ltd, a global clinical research organization. Prior to this, he was the managing director of Caprihans India Ltd between 2012 and 2022. His earlier experiences spread across continents and industries, in senior management positions including Hindustan Unilever (as general manager), Arcelor Mittal Germany (as managing director), Thomas Cook (as executive director), Essar Steel (as executive director), and Suzlon Energy (as group CFO and member of the global boards). He is a chartered accountant (FCA), cost and management accountant (FCMA), company secretary (FCS), and master of commerce (M Com). He is the recipient of several business accolades including:‘Hall of Fame’ award from CFO India magazine, for “finance” in February 2023;‘Hall of Fame’ award from Manufacturing Today magazine for “manufacturing” in September 2023;‘Ethical Businessman’ award from Rotary International in 2019.
