About Author

Sean Callery is an author and primary-school teacher. He has written several information books for publishers such as Harper Collins and Which?, including titles about codes and ciphers, children's party games and famous dictators. He is the author of the Life Cycles series. Clive Gifford is an award-winning writer for children whose first book was published at the age of seventeen. He has written over 8 non-fiction books including Robots, Spies, The Kingfisher Geography Encyclopedia, and The Kingfisher Book of Living Worlds. He has received commendations from PBS and the Smithsonian Museum and received a Times Educational Supplement Information Book of the Year award. Dr Mike Goldsmith has a PhD in astrophysics from Keele University, awarded for research into variable supergiant stars and cosmic dust formation. Since 1999, Mike has written over 4 science books for children and adults. He is a co-author of The Encyclopedia of Everything.
