Arjun was always the obedient son quiet, sincere, and eager to please. But all these traits were just to be worn in front of his parents. When away from them he always loved to be carefree, mischievous and happy go lucky person. Although, He never questioned his parents’ love, nor saw the control they masked as care. After his graduation Arjun chose to join the family business. The decision was with half heart. Soon, What he thought was family devotion begins to unravel, revealing years of emotional manipulation, suffocating expectations, and the dark legacy of narcissistic parenting. As the chaos unfolds, Arjun finds himself torn between his loyalty to the parents that raised him and the truth that finally opens his eyes. He knows this is all an effect of generational trauma passed on from ages. In the midst of all this chaos, enters Jaanvi—a radiant, free-spirited artist who is making her career in singing. Her courage and compassion becomes his anchor. With her, Arjun begins to rediscover himself, confront his childhood wounds, and reclaim the life he was never allowed to live. The Silent Thread is a powerful story of awakening—of how a gentle soul dares to break free from the invisible chains of parental control, and how love, in its truest form, can mend what trauma tried to destroy. Will he be able to change the parenting and false respect this society imposes? Will his parents change with time? Will he be able to break the chains of generational trauma? Grab a copy for you and dive inside to get the answers.
