About Author

Under the Mahua Tree: Lavanya Kapahi dreamed of being a poet and author as a young, compassionate girl. A published author of picture books that celebrate inclusion, ‘Under the Mahua Tree’, is her debut writing for older children. She believes stories can empower children to embrace the diversity of our wondrous world with empathy and fairness.Manicure in Mundirikuppam:Subhashree Giridhar, a lexophile and playful poet, weaves words into puns and poems, gifts them, and forgets in the dance of daily life. She's not just an artist of language; she's a rangoli expert sprinkling colours in patterns, a balcony songstress who serenades the pigeons. In the delightful chaos of parenthood, her endlessly curious child fuels the quest for more stories, forever seeking new adventures before the last one ends. Hence, she embarks on her writing journey with the goal of bringing joy to kids through stories and reigniting the spark of childhood for adults, as well as encouraging them to chase their dreams. The Rumbly Feast:Rohini Vij is a storyteller who believes in lifting hearts and cultivating wisdom by way of her stories. Her journey as a storyteller began in the scenic landscapes of Shimla and Dharamshala, Himachal Pradesh, where she was immersed in stories during her growing up years. As a story educator and founder of NutSpace, she is actively involved in creating story based content for schools and her own ed-tech platform - Nutspace Edtech (www.nutspace.in).
