About Author

Swayam Ganguly was born and raised in Jamshedpur and currently lives in Kolkata. He wears many hats: a published author, director of corporate films, editorial consultant for various publishers and a diehard aficionado of sports. His interest in chess was cultivated at an early age, thanks to the sport being a regular feature among family and peers. After a gap of many years, Gukesh Dommaraju's remarkable achievement in the FIDE World Chess Championship 2024 drew Swayam to chess once again and inspired him to write a book.
