About Author

Nandini Sengupta is a Pondicherry based author of historical fiction. After a chance visit to the Ajanta caves and Kailash Temple Ellora in 2007, she became obsessed with India's glittering past. She has written the best-selling Gupta Empire Trilogy published by HarperCollins India and the critically acclaimed The Blue Horse And Other Amazing Animals From Indian History published by Hachette India. She is also the author of the much loved The Story of Kalidasa: The Gem Among Poets by Goodearth Publications. She is currently writing her first non fiction historical biography
