New poetry anthology from Sunday Times bestselling poet, mental health campaigner, performer and producer.

A new poetry anthology by Sunday Times bestselling poet Hussain Manawer.

I Wanted to Quit was created as medicine for those who feel misunderstood and discouraged, for everyone who faces heartbreak and grief, for anyone who are tired of pursuing those dreams, for those who are lonely or homesick and craving some love, affection, touch and care, for those just trying to face another day. This is for you. Featuring stories from a range of voices that cross generations, through different cultures, lifestyles and life experiences, through parallel universes and worlds, these stories explore the exceptional essence of wanting to give up and the true power and magic in never doing so.

Featuring words by over ninety people, including actor Courteney Cox, rugby player Maro Itoje, documentary-maker Jack Harries, director of TEDxLondon Maryam Pasha, and more, this heart-warming collection is for everyone who is on their own journey.
