Shalini P Sawkar is an Author, Columnist and TED Circles Speaker. She has written 3 books namely: Confessions of an IT Employee, The Murder of Jay Shekhar and When I Find You. She writes articles on creativity, travel and lifestyle on The Post India and SheThePeople. She won the Coimbatore Literary Awards - Most Promising Fiction for her novel Confessions of an IT Employee. She has also been awarded the 1000 Women of Asia Award by Womennovators in association with the Consulate General of India, New York and The Ministry of IT & Telecommunications, Government of India. She’s also a software engineer and has about 7+ years of industry experience. She’s an avid reader and traveller and has visited more than 14 countries.
