Satish B. Mathur, Ph.D. in Business Management and a Certified Associate of the Indian Institute of Bankers (C.A.I.I.B.), is currently supervising Management Consultancy (MMC) in Lucknow. Previously, he was a Professor of Finance at the Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow. He worked with the State Bank of India (SBI) for over 27 years (1961-1988), holding various senior executive positions in policy and planning, training, and administration. His roles included Senior Member of Faculty at the Bank's Apex College in Hyderabad, Assistant General Manager, and Chief Manager of Intensive Industrial Finance Branches. After leaving SBI, he joined the Administrative Staff College of India (ASCI) in Hyderabad as a Senior Member of Faculty in Finance. During his eight-year tenure at ASCI (1988-1995), Dr. Mathur conducted numerous programs for senior and top-level executives in both the public and private sectors, as well as for senior IAS and IPS officers. He has published around fifty papers in respected Indian and international journals, and some of his work has been used by UNICEF in their international training programs. His book, "The A to Z of Managerial Excellence," has been well received by both academia and practicing executives.
