Satish B. Mathur, PhD in Business Management and C.A.I.I.B., currently oversees Management Consultancy (MMC) in Lucknow. Previously, he served as Professor of Finance at the Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow, and spent over 27 years (1961-1988) at the State Bank of India (SBI) in various senior executive roles. This included positions in policy and planning, training, and administration, such as Senior Faculty Member at the Bank's Apex College in Hyderabad, Assistant General Manager, and Chief Manager of Intensive Industrial Finance Branches. Later, Dr. Mathur transitioned to the Administrative Staff College of India (ASCI), Hyderabad, where he served as a Senior Faculty Member in Finance from 1988 to 1995. During his tenure at ASCI, he conducted numerous programs for senior executives in both public and private sectors, as well as for senior IAS and IPS Officers. He has authored approximately fifty papers published in reputable Indian and international journals, including leading financial publications, some of which have been utilized by UNICEF in their international training programs. His book titled "The A to Z of Managerial Excellence" has been well received by academia and practicing executives alike.
