About Author

Sidney Sheldon, born in 1917, was an American author and master storyteller. Born in Chicago, Illinois, he attended Northwestern University and relocated to Hollywood, California in 1937. His prolific and immensely successful writing career spans over five decades, and won him several prestigious awards like an Oscar, a Tony, and an Edgar Allan Poe Award from the Mystery Writers of America. Sheldon has over 250 television scripts, six Broadway plays, twenty five major motion pictures, and fourteen novels, such as The Naked Face, The Sands Of Time , Morning, Noon And Night, and The Best Laid Plans.
