What Islam Says About God, and Why It Matters Today

Rooted entirely in the Quran, Professor Abdur Raheem Kidwai’s Who Is Allah? The Concept of God in Islam offers a clear and authentic introduction to the Islamic understanding of God. For readers seeking to grasp what “Allah” truly means, this book presents a thoughtful selection of Quranic verses that explore His nature, attributes, guidance, and justice.

What kind of God is Allah?
What is His relationship with the universe and humankind?
How does He view believers and non-believers?
What path does He lay out for salvation?

Alongside these core questions, the book also sheds light on the Islamic worldview, its belief system, moral code, and vision of the afterlife.

Who Is Allah? is written for the general reader, especially those curious about Islam and how it continues to shape the lives of nearly two billion people across the globe. In a world where interfaith understanding matters more than ever, this book offers a timely and accessible doorway into the heart of Islamic belief.
