About Author

Dr. P.K. Agrawal is first-class first and a gold medalist in Law from University of Allahabad in 1973, LL.M. from Calcutta University and D.Phil. in Law from Allahabad University in 1992. He started his career as a lecturer in law. He then joined as Sales Tax officer and Income Tax officer. After joining Indian Administrative Service, Dr. Agrawal worked for 10 years in District Administration and 8 years as Principal Secretary, Government of West Bengal. Dr. Agrawal worked as Joint Secretary, Department of Justice, Ministry of Law and Justice, Government of India from 1997 to 2002 where he tried to implement judicial reforms. Dr. Pramod Kumar Agrawal is a prolific writer of Hindi and English and has sixty five books to his credit. After retirement Dr. Agrawal worked as an Advocate since 2010 and partner in Khaitan & Company, a leading law firm. At present, Dr. Agrawal is the Managing Partner, VAS Global, a New Delhi based law firm. Mr. Virag Gupta is Partner at VAS Global, Law Firm and practices at the Supreme Court of India. Mr Gupta is a former IRS officer and also having worked with E&Y. He has rich experience of Law, Administration and Industry. Due to his initiative, Election Commission of India has issued notification on Social Media guidelines. He is also instrumental in appointment of Grievance Officer by the internet companies operating in India and also for raising the issue of storage of data in Indian servers. He has authored various Compendiums such on Food Safety, Telecom, Drugs & Cosmetics, Mining Laws, Real Estate, Legal Metrology, Insolvency, and Cases on Special Economic Zones (SEZs) laws, for which he has been awarded twice by the Chief Justice of India on Law Day. Apart from being a columnist for several national newspapers and participant in TV debates, he has many literary books to his credit.
