You wake up in a remote compound deep in the desert—alongside nine other women.
You’re all young. All beautiful. All desperate to escape the chaos of the outside world: the poverty, the unrest, the climate collapse.
Then you realise you’re being watched. Every move, every word, broadcast live to millions of viewers hooked on reality TV.
Soon, ten men will arrive—if they survive the brutal journey to reach you.
This is a competition. You just don’t know the rules yet.
What will you have to do to win?
And what happens if you lose?
The Compound is a razor-sharp, addictive literary satire that skewers modern excess and our cultural obsession with performance, power, and voyeurism. A chilling look at what we’re willing to watch—and what we’re willing to become.
