About Author

Dr Aishwarya Aggarwal was born in India, to a family of doctors. Her father is a surgeon and her mother a gynaecologist. She completed her medical training at Christian Medical College, Ludhiana and is currently a neurology resident at John F. Kennedy Medical Center, New Jersey, USA. After completing the residency, she plans to pursue fellowships in vascular neurology and neurointerventional surgery.

Dr Aggarwal has previously co-authored an academic book, Stories of Stroke, with Dr Louis R. Caplan and several other prominent neurologists from across the globe. She has also authored many research papers. Outside of work, she enjoys playing badminton, photography and dancing.
