About Author
David James has been a teacher for over 20 years. He has edited and written a number of textbooks for Cambridge University Press and Hodder. He has co-edited two collections of essays for Routledge: World Class and The State of Independence. He is a fortnightly columnist for the TES and also occasionally contributes to mainstream publications (most recently to The Critic). David is also an experienced inspector of schools.
Jane Lunnon has been a teacher for over 20 years and has had a variety of roles including Senior Deputy Head at Wellington College, Deputy Head at Prior's Field School and Head of Wimbledon High School. Jane is a member of the Royal Shakespeare Company Education Committee, a trustee of the Royal Springboard Foundation, sits on the Board of Governors of Newland House and King Edward’s School, Witley, is secretary of the GSA London Region Heads division and sits on the HMC Universities Committee. She is currently head of Alleyn's School in London.
