Dr. Sharad S. Chauhan, a distinguished officer of the Indian Police Service from the 1992 batch, currently holds the rank of Director General of Police. A gold medallist MBBS graduate from Delhi University, he emerged as the topper of his IPS batch, earning accolades such as the Prime Minister's Baton and Home Minister's revolver for his distinction as the best all-rounder.
In addition to his law enforcement prowess, Dr. Chauhan is a regular contributor to academic journals and newspapers, showcasing his commitment to intellectual pursuits. With a profound commitment to academic excellence, he pursued a doctorate in bioterrorism, demonstrating his dedication to specialized knowledge in the field.
