About Author

Dr. Vighneswara Swamy is an academician with over two decades of experience in research, teaching, and consultancy. He is the recipient of several prestigious awards, fellowships, and recognitions, which reflect his contributions to economics and public policy. Dr. Swamy is currently a Professor of Economics at IBS-Hyderabad and Dean of Research of ICFAI Foundation for Higher Education (a deemed university).

Prof. Swamy has extensive experience teaching public policy to MBA students and has published numerous papers on regulation, supervision, and stability. He teaches Public Policy, Managerial Economics, Macroeconomics, and International Finance and Trade in the MBA program and Topics in Microeconomics in the Ph.D. program. His research provides valuable insights into the challenges and opportunities facing policymakers. In addition to his academic contributions, Prof. Swamy is a prolific researcher with publications in top international journals, including The World Economy, World Development, and the International Review of Economics and Finance. He also writes columns in national business newspapers and other reputed portals.

Dr. Suresh K.G. currently serves as an Assistant Professor of Economics at the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Bodh Gaya. With a decade of experience in research, teaching, and training both managers and government officials, Dr. Suresh teaches in the MBA and IPM (Integrated Program in Management) programs at IIM-Bodh Gaya, focusing on Public Policy, International Business, Environmental Economics, Macroeconomics, and Econometrics.
