At school, Mia does find her fair share of troubles in the form of her English teacher, who makes no bones about not liking her. Then her best friend nominates her to be the president of the school when she is reluctant. and finally there is a bigger trouble of an impending eco – disaster hanging like a naked sword over their heads. Life for Mia seems as if it cannot get any worse than this until Grandmere and Lily appear on the scene. Will these two help Mia cope with it all?
