Misadventures Of A Diamond Thief

Shahabzada Hawa Singh Rafu Chakkar (Rafu) comes from a
family of illustrious time-travelling thieving djinns, famed for
stealing the most magnificent jewels known to history. That is to
say, his line was illustrious. He was not.
Rafu has no interest in stealing gems; he wants to be a chef. But when
the Kkng of djjins sends him on a mission to Hyderabad, a magnificent
city newly built by Sultan Mohammed Quli Qutub Shah to steal the
even more magnificent Shah-i-Noor diamond, Rafu takes up the
challenge—because he has a secret mission on his own. The diamond
would be his ticket to his dream.
Rafu must get the diamond within eight days, but realizes that he
might have bitten off more than he could chew—and we’re not talking
about the pulavs and kebebs that keep distracting him. Cunning
courtiers, mysterious thieves and a most annoying horse add to his
woes as he raced against time to make his dream come true.
