About Author

Dr. Santanu Chattopadhyay is a Professor at the Department of Electronics and Electrical Communication Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur. Currently, he is working as the Director, Indian Institute of Information Technology, Kalyani. He has been the Associate Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture, at IIT Kharagpur. He was also the Chairman of the Kalpana Chawla Space Technology Cell, at IIT Kharagpur. He has been a Senior Member of the IEEE Computer Society. He has authored/co-authored several texts and reference books in the domains of Cellular Automata, Compilers, Embedded Systems, VLSI Testing, Network-on-Chip etc. Apart from the reputed national publishers, his books have been published by international publishers like IEEE Computer Society Press and CRC Press. The book on Compiler Design has been translated into Chinese also. He has more than 200 publications/presentations to his credit in reputed refereed international journals (IEEE, ACM, Science Direct and Springer etc.) and conferences.
