Machine Design Data Book

The “Machine Design Data Book” has been written and compiled with the aim of providing a convenient tool in the hands of student for solving class room porblems with minimum taxation to this memory. Class room design problems are normally given to evaluate the capacity of student to get the basic dimensions of machine elements or to check the stability of a design for a particular service conditions. The fifth edition of the book has been changed completely changed into S.I. units in view of the fact that engineering faculty of the entire nation has adopted S.I. units in teaching and practical applications. The necessary corrections have also been made. The authors would be happy to receive the comments.
