About Author

Anjali Joshi is a science teacher, curriculum developer, and author of several children's books, including ABC Science Book, Sarla in the Sky and Little Jagadish and the Great Experiment. She holds a master's degree in science education from the University of Oxford. She lives in Toronto, Canada, with her husband and two boys. About the illustrator: Debasmita Dasgupta is a Singapore-based internationally published picture-book illustrator and graphic novel artist with over a decade of experience in the field of art-for-change. She specializes in creating cause-based illustrations, be it about promoting girl child rights, ending violence against women or sharing inspiring stories of change makers. Her work has been showcased across many countries in the world. Her first graphic novel, Nadya, published by Scholastic in 2019 explored love, pain and loss in a family going through a separation.
