About Author

R. Gopalan is a Ph.D. from the University of Madras. He taught at Madras Christian College for thirty-four years. He has authored fifty research articles and thirty books. He is currently a freelance writer and teacher.

Amirtha Anand is a Reader in Chemistry at Maitreyi College, Delhi University. She has 22 years of experience in teaching Physical Chemistry at the undergraduate level. She has co-authored the book ‘Chemistry Class XII’ written in accordance with the latest NCERT Syllabus.

R. Wilfred Sugumar obtained his Ph.D. from the University of Madras. He has carried out research in biodegradation of wastewater containing azo dyes. He is the Head of the Department of Chemistry in Madras Christian College.
