The book starts with India’s changed position in the global setting with a detailed account of dynamics. The book is a look at various sectors of Indian Economy with reference to Infrastructure, Public Private Partnership, Education, Health, Agriculture, Urbanisation and Tourism. The Author is of the view that there is need of affordability and access in health sector and Excellency in Education sector. He is also of the view that while we need to make India a manufacturing hub, at the same time, we cannot ignore the question of food security. Appropriately, he mentions that for smart cities, the development plan must be followed by town planning. Last but not the least, the author places question before the reader, whether, we really need to follow western model of high consumption or we should evolve our own sustainable development with lesser consumerism and focus on real happiness of people.
