FIGHTING FANTASY #5: HOUSE OF HELL

I am a poet, novelist and playwright. I have been writing since junior high, initially as class projects and such. It was when I would feel lonely, sad, mad -- any of those emotions that a teenager didn't know how to express that I began to create stories in my head, or write a poem to express those emotions. A lot of the works included in this book are about love and relationships, pain and loss. Some sound like "end notes" but are really a point in time when I wanted to say "enough!", and move on from that place of pain. The Depths of My Soul is my first professionally published book. I have received encouragement from family and friends to share my work for years, but poetry is pretty personal. It's not easy to put it out there for critics to potentially pan. What makes it worthwhile is the people who respond positively, those who enjoy my poems. I write for you!
