About Author

Deepak Surana is a B.B.A graduate of SJCC in Bangalore. Having done his schooling at Bishop Cotton Boys School, Bangalore, he developed a keen interest in the armed forces at a very young age. He is very passionate about the Indian army and has met many war veterans and families of Martyrs over the years. He has previously authored, the book, ‘The Shershah of Kargil’- the definitive biography of the Late Captain Vikram Batra. His name was figured in the starting credits of the movie ‘Shershaah’, for which he had given valuable input and support. His latest book is, 'The Kargil Story', a definitive account of the Kargil war He is currently working in his family business in Bangalore and devotes much of his leisure time to helping spread awareness about our armed forces in any way possible.
