About Author

Sudhir S. Jaiswall is Associate Professor in the Finance & Control group of IIM Calcutta. He specializes in teaching MBA and Ph.D. level courses on Corporate Financial Reporting, Cost Management, Financial Statement Analysis, Analysis of Cash flows & Earnings Quality, and Shareholder Value Creation. He is a Deloitte / J. Michael Cook Doctoral Consortium Fellow of the AAA. He has an MBA from IIM Ahmedabad, M.S. from the University of Rochester, and M.Com. (Gold Medalist) & Ph.D. from the University of Calcutta. He has also received various professional certifications including FRM (GARP), CFA (ICFAI), Grad CMA (ICMAI), and Grad OR (ORSI). Dr. Jaiswall is a life member of the Indian Accounting Association (IAA). He has held membership of the American Accounting Association (AAA), American Finance Association (AFA), Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP), Operational Research Society of India (ORSI), and Institute of Cost & Management Accountants of India (ICMAI). His research papers on Executive Compensation, Corporate Governance, and Financial Policy have been published in reputed scholarly journals in India and abroad. Asish K. Bhattacharyya is Distinguished Professor in Department of Finance, Accounting, and Control at Shiv Nadar Institution of Eminence (Deemed to be University, formerly known as Shiv Nadar University), Greater NOIDA (Delhi NCR). He obtained D. Phil degree from the University of Allahabad. He is also the Founder of Nonlinear Insights, which operates in the space of online executive education in business management domain. Earlier, he worked as Professor at IIM Calcutta, SPJIMR Mumbai and IMT Ghaziabad. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, a Fellow of the Institute of Cost Accountants of India, and an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountant (CIMA, UK). Dr. Bhattacharyya also served IMT Ghaziabad and IMI Kolkata as the Director and as the Technical Director of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.
