Live beyond your mind, turn it into your lifelong friend – and embrace happiness like never before…’ Is my mind my friend or my enemy? How do I rein in my wayward thoughts? Can I ever live in peace? These are some of the questions we are plagued by every day as we try to make sense of our lives and navigate its daily challenges. In Mind Your Mind, popular ISKCON monk and motivational speaker Venugopal Acharya reveals that the answer lies not in controlling the mind but in managing it. Drawing from his own spiritual journey, he outlines the three powerful yet simple principles that will help you on your path to transformation and peace: Awareness, Acceptance and Aspiration. While each of the three principles is explained in separate sections, the Acharya stresses that these principles are interlinked. Integrating these principles is the real secret to mind management, and a daily spiritual practice will help us see the harmony and beauty that arise as a result. The final lesson that this gentle but powerful book offers is that you can actually live a life beyond the mind, and that the most effective way to stay grounded is by connecting to a noble aspiration larger than the individual self, and finding a purpose in life that asks for extraordinary passion.
