About Author

Dr. N. D. Vohra relinquished his tenure as Associate Professor in the Department of Commerce at Ramjas College, University of Delhi. Currently, he is teaching quantitative techniques and business statistics to the Global Business Operations classes at Shri Ram College of Commerce, University of Delhi. He obtained his postgraduate degree in commerce and doctorate in finance from Delhi School of Economics. His areas of interest include quantitative analysis and finance. He has been teaching since 1974 and has an extensive experience including that at the Department of Commerce, Delhi School of Economics. He also taught at the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and other institutions offering professional courses in management. Earlier, he served at Foundation of Technical Institutes, Iraq, and as Director of Research with the BLB Group of companies. He served at Geaddu College of Business Studies, Bhutan, in 2011. Dr. Hitesh Arora is Professor in Quantitative Techniques & Operations Management and Dean (Academic Services) at FORE School of Management, New Delhi, India. A graduate in Mathematics and a postgraduate in Operational Research from University of Delhi, he has earned his Doctorate in Mathematical Programming from Department of Operational Research, University of Delhi, India. He has also worked as an Actuarial Consultant with a UK-based MNC. As an actuarial consultant, his work involved data modeling and reserving for personal and commercial lines of different UK-based insurance companies. He has over two decades of experience in academics and industry. He has also conducted various Management Development Programs (MDPs) in-house and online. Prof. Arora has worked immensely in the area of Mathematical Programming and his present areas of research interest are measurement of Productivity, Service Quality and effect of information technology in Indian banking sector. He has authored numerous research papers published in national and international journals of repute.
