About Author
Parvati Sharma's first book for children, The Story of Babur, was acclaimed as 'delightful' and 'deeply engaging'. She has also written books for adults: The Dead Camel and Other Stories of Love; Close to Home, a novella; and, most recently, Jahangir: An Intimate Portrait of a Great Mughal, a historical biography.
Sharma lives in New Delhi, where she has studied English literature and Indian history, and worked as a travel writer, editor and journalist.
